Barra ist eine kleine Insel im Meer der Hebriden, vor der Küste Schottlands. Die Hebriden sind bekannt für ihre handgewebten Stoffe, die durch traditionelles Handwerk und die Zucht von Schafen mit hochwertiger Wolle entstehen. Sie dienten als Inspiration für BARRA, einen extra breiten Satin-Dim-Out-Stoff zur Lichtfilterung. Dieser Effekt wird durch das Einweben eines schwarzen Schussfadens erzielt. Die schwer entflammbare Qualität (FR) besitzt eine seidige und eine wollige Seite, die je nach Wunsch gewendet werden kann.
